Resume bullet point generator

Make your experience easier to understand. Start with work you actually did, compare a few AI rewrites, and keep the version you can stand behind.

Start with what you actually did

Turn one experience into a clearer bullet

Describe your part in the work, the actions you took and any result you can support. A clear bullet does not need a percentage. Leave out names, contact details and confidential information.

30 to 2400 characters. 0 entered. No resume upload required.

Free, with usage limits. Posted Band does not save your text to a profile. Input and drafts remain in this tab; use Clear my text to remove them. Provider processing is described in our privacy notice.

Fictional example

A stronger bullet can be specific without inventing a number

Original experience

I helped the support team by sorting incoming requests by topic and writing notes so the next person could pick them up. We used a shared spreadsheet.

Edited example

Supported request handoffs by organizing incoming support requests by topic and recording notes in a shared spreadsheet.

This edit names the action and the purpose. It does not turn helping into leading, add a tool you never used or claim a faster response time without evidence. The example is written for illustration, not taken from a customer.

Writing guide

What to include in a resume bullet

  1. Your action. Say what you personally did. Keep the difference between assisting, owning and leading clear.
  2. The work or context. Name the process, project or group you worked with. Include tools only if you used them.
  3. A supported result. Add an outcome or number when you can explain where it came from. Otherwise describe the scope or purpose of the work.

Use this for employment, coursework, personal projects or volunteering. A target job description can help you choose relevant wording; it cannot supply missing experience.

Common questions

Do I need measurable achievements?

No. Explain an action, the work involved and its purpose. Do not add a percentage, revenue amount or time saving just because a template includes one.

Does the tool verify my experience?

No. It checks output structure, source quotes and whether numeric claims appeared in your experience. AI can still change meaning or add an unsupported claim, so compare each draft with your original input before using it.

Is this an ATS score or an interview guarantee?

No. This tool helps edit text. It does not inspect an employer's screening system, assess your eligibility or guarantee a response.

Where does my text go?

Generating sends your input to our service, Vercel AI Gateway and OpenAI. Posted Band does not save it to a profile or include it in analytics events. Read the privacy notice before entering information.
