Privacy for a public hiring-intelligence dataset.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and clicks on employer job links. Click events include the company identifier, source provider, and link placement. They do not include job titles, full destination URLs, names, emails, or application information. These counts describe use of the site, not job applications.

Vercel also reports anonymous visitor counts, referring sites, country, browser, and device information. Visitor counts are estimates, not verified people. We do not add our own visitor or session identifier. Analytics is enabled by default. You can stop pageview and click reporting by adding ?pb_analytics=off to a Posted Band page URL, or restore reporting with ?pb_analytics=on. The analytics script may still load when reporting is off. We save only that preference in this browser's local storage. If local storage is blocked, the preference applies only while the parameter is present in the URL.

Public data pages do not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies and do not require visitors to submit a personal profile.

As with most hosted websites, infrastructure providers may process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and error logs to deliver and secure the service.

Posted Band collects public employer job postings from named ATS endpoints. The product is designed around company-level hiring activity and employer-published compensation, not candidate profiles. Public posting text may contain recruiter or workplace contact information supplied by the employer.

When a Posted Band feature asks for account, billing, alert, or research-workspace information, the relevant purpose and service provider will be disclosed at the point of collection. Public company and methodology pages remain available without submitting a candidate profile.

Public-source snapshots are retained to build a dated historical record and audit derived observations. Hosting providers may retain technical request logs to deliver and secure the service. Material policy changes receive a new effective date on this page.

Privacy, correction, and removal requests are reviewed together because the current service publishes source-attributed public job-posting evidence rather than user profiles.

Correction review is source-led; each public observation provides its employer endpoint and collection date for independent verification.
